Lay Down Inward Swing Door Acrylic Walk In Bathtub – 30”w X 60”l (76cm X 152cm)

Ella’s Bubbles offers several different massage jet configurations in our top-of-the-line walk-in bathtubs. Customers may find themselves having to choose, “Do I want air jets or a hydro jets?” What is the difference, anyway?

Hydro jets, also known as water jets or whirlpools, are the better-recognized option, found in residential hot tubs and physical therapists’ offices around the world. Hydro jets circulate a high-pressure stream of water from a localized hose in the wall of your tub. This accomplishes an effect similar to a deep-tissue massage. Areas of tightness or soreness can be targeted. Jet pressure can be adjusted to your desired massage preference.

The lesser-known air massage configuration pipes air into the bath from numerous jets. Ella walk In tubs offer 3 variable speed air massage settings. The air jets are strategically placed throughout the tub. Since it is only blowing air out, the pressure is less intense than the hydro jets. This allows for a much gentler massage that can be perfect more sensitive joints and muscles.

An advanced form of treatment is available from Ella’s Bubbles called Infusion™ Microbubble Therapy. This new treatment pushes millions of microscopic bubbles into the water. This makes the water look cloudy, but it is complete free of any chemicals or cleanser – just bubbles of pure oxygen. With many bubbles bursting against your skin, the surface area stimulation is greatly enhanced. Microbubbles not only tone the skin and relax the muscles, but wick away dirt and contaminants resulting in a deep cleansing of the skin without chemicals or irritants.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, as much depends on personal preference. Consider the following guidelines:

  • Hydro water jets tend to be noisier than air jets. If you favor peace and quiet at bath time, air jets may be the way to go.
  • If you have muscle or back pain, consider water jets for deep massaging properties. A heated seat or backrest may also be an effective accessory.
  • For generalized muscle discomfort and skin showing signs of aging, Infusion™ MicroBubble Therapy could be the best fit.

Having trouble choosing? Ella’s Bubbles walk-in bathtubs can be configured with a combination of both systems so you can choose which massaging jet is right for you on a case-by-case basis.
