The purpose of the Ella Glue-Up Tile Flange kit is to provide the perfect tile flange option for bathtubs and shower bases that lack a built-in tile flange.
Ella brand walk-in bathtub shells do not include an integral tile flange. The reason for this omission is our focus on maximizing interior space by minimizing the deck width to the necessary minimum. As a result, finishing tiles or wall panels over the deck should also occupy minimal space to allow for cleaning gaps between the wall and fixtures. We strongly recommend purchasing and installing Ella’s glue-up flexible tile flange for this purpose. This tile flange is constructed from a thin, waterproof fabric membrane and is perfectly suited for this application.

Note: The BulkBox includes a 164-foot long, 4-inch wide Sealux patented waterproof membrane with an integrated 1 ¼-inch siliconized adhesive strip. Please be aware that the BulkBox does not contain a spreading spatula, cardboard alignment guide, or alcohol surface cleaning tissues, which are included in the residential package (shown in video).
The 164-foot roll of tile flange is sufficient for 16 projects, each requiring a tile flange length of 124 inches. This length is suitable for the majority of Ella walk-in tub models installed in three-wall alcove setups within a standard 60-inch opening. While the regular cost for a 124-inch flange kit is $69, purchasing a box will reduce the cost per 124-inch segment to $29.69, resulting in a savings of $39.31 per install.
